The International Adoption Process

Step 6 - Schedule a home study with a local home study agency or Adoption Source if you reside in Florida

Adoptive Parents have an international home study completed by a licensed social worker either through AS (if you reside in Florida) or one in your local area.

If Adoption Source does not provide home study services, please be sure that the social worker who completes the study is affiliated with a licensed agency.

We can assist you in locating a social worker in your area. The home study fee is separate from the agency fee and is paid directly to the social worker at the first appointment.
